These drawings are an exploration of what it means to wear one's flaws as a badge of honor, and the benefits or risks that can result. Covering our facial expressions with jewels. A cloak made of wounds. Skin as decoration and protection. These crowns of broken and crooked teeth show the pride and vulnerability in the way we choose to present ourselves to the world.
